Post Merged, Jun 19, 2017 -So it does have a large. Not the small rumored tiny battery. Having the 4,000mAh is the best smartphone news all year so far. Finally someone got smart and did the right thing battery wise on a smartphone. Great news the leaked spec sheet listing the 4,000mAh battery right there. I am so sick of smartphones coming with these baby 3,000mAh batteries, even 3,300mAh is meh, and just lame. OnePlus is always saying 'Never Settle' and they better have not just 'settled' on a 3,300mAh, but actually had balls to put in a 4,000mAh battery.
Looks as though everything is pointing to a $499-550 price tag as well. It doesn't look like a bad phone at all. I would have preferred if they had a more original design but it is not a deal breaker.
I like how they addressed in the video that it simply was not possible to achieve an all screen design this generation which likely means that one is coming, maybe a OP 5T? Size matters to me as the previous phones were just to big to be comfortable and I am really interested in seeing what the camera has to offer. Post Merged, Jun 19, 2017 -So it does have a large. OnePlus is always saying 'Never Settle' and they better have not just 'settled' on a 3,300mAh, but actually had balls to put in a 4,000mAh battery. Well, I have purchased every OnePlus so far, OnePlus X included. And I still own OnePlus 3T. But this time around, I won't pull the trigger right away. Design is the problem. Not copying, but just the design. I never use any cases or any kind of protection on my phones.
But I found iPhone 6 design to be slippery, and not so ergonomic at all. I will wait to test out OP5 in the hands first, and if it isn't as slippery as iPhone, well, then I will purchase one. But if it is, this will be the first OP phone I won't be buying But still looking forward for the event, even though I'm gonna miss it. I have a futsal match tonight, but I will read everything afterwards. Post Merged, Jun 19, 2017 -So it does have a large. Not the small rumored tiny battery.
